Sustainable

Sustainable ‘green’ design is essential for responsible growth in the future. RHAA is experienced in the development of both certified and non-certified LEED projects. The firm has LEED certified professionals on staff and continues to be an innovator in sustainable landscape design.

We believe that a built project should rest lightly on the land. We study the local ecosystems with biologists and wildlife specialists. We study the culture through discussions with locals and research endeavors. We study the earth with soils engineers and geologists. With all of these lessons, we develop a site plan that respects the natural systems, is sustainable and self-replenishing. This approach educates and inspires the people who visit our 'places' to a new way of thinking about the environment they live in.
