Overfelt Gardens Park
DESCRIPTION

Overfelt Gardens Park is a 33-acre community park located in San Jose that was donated to the city by Mildred Overfelt in memory of her parents. Mildred had a specific vision for the park, which was to be a place of beauty and relaxation, not a park filled with sports fields and games. The park opened to the public in 1966 and features a range of unique and interesting features.

RHAA provided an updated master plan to help provide a renewed future for the park, helping to develop the park as a much needed asset to the community, as well to achieve the goals originally set forth by Mildred Overfelt.
