Senior Associate

We are currently seeking a Senior Associate with 2+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture, site planning, and construction documentation for a full-time position in our Mill Valley office.


Work Responsibilities

  • Confer with clients, engineers, and building architects to develop design concepts for landscape layouts.
  • Analyze site conditions including land use patterns and environmental qualities and document site analysis.
  • Draft site plans, elevations, diagrams, and design options using hand drawings, AutoCAD, and ArchiCAD.
  • Create 3D renderings of finalized designs using Building Information Management (BIM) software including ArchiCAD.
  • Develop design solutions based on the scale of the project, ranging from small designs, residential, commercial, corporate, and community projects.
  • Produce landscape construction document packages including drawings, details, and specifications and select sustainable materials for use in landscape designs.
  • Monitor the construction and installation process and consult with clients to ensure designs are implemented as planned.
  • Identify areas of interest to incorporate into landscape designs and communicate these ideas to the firm’s principals.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements and industry trends in landscape architecture and computer-aided design software technology.

Requirements

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related position. The position requires skills and knowledge in AutoCAD. The position requires incidental travel - 1% of the time, not more than several days a few times a year throughout California. 


Salary: $102,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year / 40 hours/week.
