Craig Hanchett, Principal, has been practicing landscape architecture for 40 years and has been involved in all types of Royston Hanamoto Alley & Abey's projects, including park and urban design related contracts. Craig developed the firm's quality control system and is responsible for overseeing construction documentation and construction review for the firm's projects. He is highly experienced in the technical aspects of working drawings and specifications, and skilled in the production of quality landscape drawings. Craig brings to all his projects the ability to utilize new methods and procedures to resolve complex technical problems for upgrades, restoration, and repair of planting and irrigation. He is experienced in the use of irrigation and xeriscape methods, as well as the use of drought tolerant plants. His extensive experience in reviewing and recommending necessary procedures includes methods for water conservation and facility restoration, and repair and upgrade relative to structures, paving, planting, irrigation and drainage. He also has substantial experience in the preparation of landscape maintenance manual guidelines.
