Cara comes to RHAA with strong interests in design, history and ecology. Having studied cultural landscapes for her bachelor’s degree, she has a strong interest and understanding of architectural history and landscape history, while her master’s degree focused on design, ecology, and the integration of architecture and landscape architecture. Cara advocates the importance of integrating these aspects of design into a socially thriving, contemporary, and sustainable space. Her work with RHAA includes large commercial sites, podium/rooftop gardens, public park improvements, historic Master Plans, and non-profit projects. Her background has also given her experience with public parks, residential projects, university campus design, community involvement, and waterfront improvements. She has traveled extensively through parts of Europe and Asia specifically to study projects that combine contemporary design, architecture, and ecology at historically sensitive landscapes.
